Eric Spann

Foundation Manager

Eric Spann manages FSA’s Charleston operations and supports our artists and community engagement.

He holds a Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of South Carolina. Throughout his career, he has served mission-driven organizations, supporting leaders, educators, and creative teams through thoughtful coordination, clear communication, and program development.

Eric is committed to equipping artists to create work that expresses their faith and contributes to the renewal of culture. His work is shaped by the conviction that the creative arts, grounded in theological reflection, can cultivate imagination, reflect beauty, and communicate meaning across a range of contexts. Engaging visual art, music, literature, and film, he approaches artistic practice as both worship and stewardship—an offering that deepens spiritual reflection and bears faithful witness to the world.

In addition to his administrative and programmatic work, he is an active musician, serving the local church through music and multimedia in worship services, nonprofit events, and digital contexts. His ongoing spiritual formation and engagement in faith-based community life inform his relational and reflective approach.
