Inspirations

Curatorial practice at FSA extends beyond our own exhibitions and programming to engage and feature work that others are researching, writing, directing, and creating.

Here we offer an homage to art and scholarship that we find thought-provoking and imaginative, connecting with other disciplines in academia, religious communities, and the contemporary art scene to facilitate dynamic conversations.

By integrating these siloed sectors, our inspirations archive demonstrates the prolific content already generated from the nexus of contemporary art and spirituality. Contrary to popular belief that their coexistence is estranged, we catalog compelling books, essays, exhibitions, and a diversity of media that we find stimulating and provocative.
